And what has the Detroit Red Wings' jersey been missing all these years? Wings?

I don't really get this one but someone obviously put at least 10 minutes into making it.

And finally, our buddy Dave Delisle from last time is back with more. What do all of these jerseys have in common?

Keep all your odd artwork coming so Freak Out Friday can continue!

Interesting comic concepts. A retro X-Men logo? Nice.
That half-life one is pretty funny. Can't wait for my team to start tonight!
I don't know what anyone else might think, but I think the shoulder patches on the Star Wars one (Imperial Crest, anybody?) would be a pretty kick-a secondary logo.
wow i love the concepts!! im not gonna lie that star wars one is pretty sweet..
Man, it's been three weeks since a Freak Out post. These are some pretty crazy ones. The Red Wings one, however, does seem like a good idea. It would be interesting if they did put a feather design on the sleeves. But I don't think that would fit the Rbk Edge cut. Either that, or the wings would give them too much an advantage.
As for the Tampa Bay Pear, I'm not even going to try to understand that one. I'm gonna spend as much time thinking about it as the person spent making it.
That reminds me of a question I was going to ask a few weeks ago. When people make the concept art you use in the Freak Out posts, do they submit the design with the intention of it being used for a Freak Out post? Or is it a serious submission?
I think that Tampa Bay Pear one is one of those things that if you think about it too long, your brain will shutdown permanently.
Man, Tampa Bay Pear? I really... have nothing to say. Hmm.
Woot! Tampa Bay Pear!!
"Da Pears" - Coach Ditka
I kind of love that Tampa Bay Pear one.
Well, as someone who's worked in produce for a while, I can tell you that when they make many kinds of fruit juice, they have some of the good stuff that the flavour of the drink is supposed to be, and fill up the rest with cheap, plentiful pear juice. To me, that's the Lightning. Vinny LeCantaloupe, Martin St. Lemon, and a lot of pear.
Also, Go team Autobots. Back in my 3D course I made a transforming zamboni.
It'd be so much easier to berate Tampa Bay if they changed their name to that.
