the first two are amazing, but i went with number one, it gives more of a steel city/Canadian feel.

#3 would be good as a secondary logo. i voted #2 cause i think it would look more appealing on a jersey than #1

numero uno! great logo

Wow, one great batch of logos here... I love them all, I went with #1 because of the Canadian theme in it, we didn't get the patriotic names that the American teams got (not complaining there were too many of them) so this really takes the Canadian pride and makes it a great logo.

My comment didn't pose earlier...1 and 2 are great logos and can be alternated between alternates and primaries really. 3rd is too much like GI Joe..could be the same font too. Picked 1 because it's Canadian overtone and still gave a strong military vibe and honour. 2nd is good but the eagle and star are very much of an American iconic image and if it can pretty much be any America-patriotic team's logos, just change the colours. However if in the middle of the eagle was changed to say a leaf or a poppy, that would definitely make a huge difference.

^ Just to clarify, I meant in the middle of the eagle was changed to a leaf/poppy not the eagle itself be changed to that.

i went with number 1 cause of the canadian feel
number 3 would be a great secondary but not for #1 bullets and swords arent really from the same era

i think theres way to much going on in the first logo. i voted for number two even tho it does seem rather american. third choice could be a great shoulder patch

Me not paying to much attation to canadin Miltary i used stars and not Maple leafs. Pluse i dont think every Canadian team had to have a canadian feel to it.

Oh i made #2 Whitch was orginaly for the Washington Stars.

I agree with Mike, I chose #2 because I felt that about every Canadian team we've had so far had a Canadian feel.

#3 would make a great alternate.

All three of these need to be used in the order they were posted. Simply great.

These all look like secondary logos to me.

The first two are great logos. The third isn't bad; it's just in competition with two of the better logos that we've seen so far. I voted for #2, but it really was a toss-up.

I have to agree with everyone else. This is probably the best batch of logos from top to bottom that I've seen so far. It was really tough picking one. But I went with #1 for much the same reason everyone else has. It's got a good solid, Canadian feel to it.

While all of these are excellent, they're all missing something important, or have something wrong, no offense to the artists, I could never do this.

1. While being incredibly solid, it makes me think "baseball" with the diamond.

2. I agree with the stars on this one and the fact that the eagle is an american icon.

3. Just not feeling anything that makes me say "wow" whatsoever. While it's simple and describes the team, there's something missing.

I'm going with number one because of it's representation of both Hamilton and the Generals. I wonder how this would look on a jersey...

I still think my logos represent the team better. Take a look.

I voted for #1. I agree with the person who said the diamond was more reminiscent of baseball, but other than this and the dreadful color scheme (which wasn't chosen by the artist, and which all the logos suffer from), it's a solid logo. Also, #1 deserves points for using crossed SWORDS in the logo instead of giving in to the temptation to use crossed hockey sticks instead.

I absolutely could not go with #2, which is obviously intended for an American team (the arrangement of five stars to form a pentagon in the center is uniquely American; the eagle is an American symbol; Canadian generals don't even have stars for their insignia to begin with). #3 was too simple and clip-arty.

Tony, no offense, but your logo was weak. Between the eyes and the thin lips, it looks like an attempt to draw a stereotype of a Chinese person. Furthermore, the insignia of maple leafs on one side and (a different number of) stars on the other is just bizarre. If I were to rank the three logos in the poll plus yours, yours would be at the bottom.

#1's my favourite for sure. #2, yeah, it's a bit too American. Maybe a horse instead of an eagle? Generals tend to ride horses. #3 is sharp, but not nearly interesting enough for a main logo. Definitely a good shoulder patch though.

I'm glad that you found a use for #2 because that was the best Washington logo made... just too bad it was a late entry.

I went with #1 just because #2 is just TOO American themed for a Canadian team. I agree that not all Canadian teams need a maple leaf (I think it's getting over-used actually), but since Canadian Generals don't wear stars on their shoulders (as seen here: http://www.forces.gc.ca/admmat/dglepm/badges-insignia/officer_e.htm), and an eagle is pretty much THE American symbol, I just couldn't vote for it.
