I've been at work for 15 hours today so forgive me if this post is less chipper than usual. I'm lucky to be posting at all at this point. But it is Wednesday so you deserve your wallpapers for the week. Today's post is rather player-focused.
Up first is Wild goalie Nicklas Backstrom.
Also got Bruin Phil Kessel inside some broken glass, I think.
A rather informative wallpaper for Ducks netminder Jonas Hiller.
This next one is all about the future of the only NHL team never to make the postseason (sorry Blue Jackets fans).
And lastly, newly signed Red Wings goaltender Ty Conklin up close and personal.
By the way, keep the wallpaper artwork coming. I'm starting to run low. And if I run out, we're going to have to skip a week.
Anyway, that does it for me. I need to get some sleep so I can be back at work again at 3 AM. Goodnight!

conklin will be a good fit in detroit methinks, altho i still think they need a legitimate number one. next year miller is a free agent, i have a feeling he may end up in detroit.
i like these, but no lightning wallpapers yet
Isn't Backstrom's name "Niklas"? Nicklas Backstrom is the Caps' center...
Otherwise, good wallpapers.
@chris: i love the idea of wallpaper wednesday. i'm not quite sure but i think i remember reading once that you had a wallpaper gallery planed where you would also post some of the work that wasn't published on icethetics/NHL ToL... if so, is this gallery already online and if yes, could you post a link somewhere on icethetics? thanks in advance and keep up the good work, you're blog was and still is just awesome!

Phil Kessel's got...well, look at the wallpaper! Very cool.
Reminds me of the fun ad NESN did this season.
Ayup. It's Niklas. Nice paper though.
good wallpapers, im using that Kessel one now.
that's 4 WW's without the best logo in the NHL.
Thanks everyone! I made the Kessel wallpaper about 6 months ago. I'm glad you all enjoy it and hopefully I can do better now.
thanks bryan and arenacade, that's just hilarious! I didn't even notice that till after I made it but it was ironic so I left it. :)
And thanks Chris for using it.
