Storm Coming

I know most of you live up north so you aren't concerned with things like this but Tropical Storm Fay seems to be making a bee line for us here in Southwest Florida. The reason I mention it is that I obviously won't be making any updates to the blog if the power goes out.

I live toward the northern edge of that pink area — which is under a Hurricane Watch.

Plus, I work in news so we'll probably start 24-hour coverage tomorrow meaning I'll be living at the TV station for a couple of days. Just thought I'd let you guys know what's up.

By the way, anybody reading who also lives in Florida, make sure you're prepared. Things could get interesting.

Good luck and stay safe down there.

As a fellow news worker, I feel your pain when it comes to living at work when crazy stuff happens.

She looks like a potential doozy. Stay safe, Chris. We'll all be here when you get back. Hope you, yours, and your property are all safe during the oncoming storm.

Hey Chris best of luck to us all, I'm down here in Naples, running Hurricane Shelters with my ROTC Unit. Been living in Naples for 16 years, so this isn't anything new for us, just an annoyance right? (As the old joke goes, Floridians don't get out of bed for anything less than a Category 3 lol)
